Xavier Becerra brings the right skills and experience to the Biden-Harris Administration as it aims to tackle some of the biggest problems facing our nation: a raging pandemic, inaccessible healthcare, and sky-high prescription drug prices. Becerra has a track record of putting the interests of ordinary Americans first — unlike his predecessor Alex Azar — and the Senate must confirm him to be the next Secretary of Health and Human Services.

As a Congressman, Xavier Becerra worked to expand access to health care under the Affordable Care Act. As California’s Attorney General, he held Big Pharma accountable for price gouging constituents. The Biden-Harris Administration must ensure that all Americans have access to much-needed medical treatments. Becerra is a champion for patients who will take on Big Pharma’s monopoly control over drug pricing, and ensure that the distribution of COVID vaccines and other treatments are safe, equitable, and fair.

The Biden-Harris Administration has the opportunity to be bold in addressing the crises we currently face. The American people cannot afford the shameless profiteering by Big Pharma, particularly at this time as we work toward pandemic recovery.
