“President Trump has had four years to uphold his promises to provide Americans with a ‘fantastic’ health plan. Now, 40 days out from the election, he’s announcing a string of executive orders that do nothing to provide people with the kind of coverage and security they need, especially in a pandemic.

Instead of keeping his promise to seniors, veterans, and every American with a chronic or pre-existing condition to lower prescription drug prices and ensure insurance companies can’t discriminate or charge them more for being sick, Trump continues to focus on repealing the Affordable Care Act in the Supreme Court and put his politics ahead of our healthcare.

The clock is running out and all this president has to show are high drug prices and 200,000 American lives lost from this pandemic.  No matter what the President names this latest political ploy, Americans know that when it comes to health care, Trump puts his own politics first, not American patients or families.”
