 “Operation Warp Speed continues gambling away billions in taxpayer dollars. The Trump Administration, which is filled with former Pharma execs and lobbyists, just handed over another $1.6 billion to Novavax, a drug corporation that’s never successfully brought a product to market. And just like the other Big Pharma players this administration is betting on, they’ve made zero assurances that the vaccines we’ve invested in will be affordable or accessible. We need Congress to end monopoly control over drug prices now. Otherwise, these companies will keep cashing-in on the mirage of a COVID vaccine while American’s get no closer to an affordable medicine”
