Not only have Big Pharma corporations raised the prices of more than 450 drugs already this year, but this investigation from Senate Finance shows how they’re using complex loopholes to avoid paying taxes on the sales of those drugs. Big Pharma is making a killing on the backs of ordinary families who can’t afford the medications they need. We should not allow Big Pharma to continue to rip off Americans and put their own profits before the wellbeing of patients. The Senate must act to immediately pass the Build Back Better Act to put an end to egregious prescription drug price gouging once and for all.
